Arrive in good time - with fantastic music right from the start!

Gypsyfingers (Slot 1)

"Trip-hop and folk-influenced ethereal pop that delightfully doesn't fit into any existing musical pigeonhole".

Gypsyfingers are a 70's-inspired indie-pop duo from London founded by songwriter Victoria Oldfield & producer Luke Oldfield - the surname may ring a 'tubular' bell with some - Luke being the son of Mike famed for his seminal prog rock album Tubular Bells in 1973.

Exquisite mountain-stream vocals from Victoria and assured lead guitar from Luke - together they blend genres of folk, rock and pop to create a fresh new sound of their own praised for being "as inventive as anything you'll hear any time soon" (R2 Magazine).

Young Waters (Slot 2)

We are rather taken by Bristol nu-folk outfit Young Waters and delighted they will be joining us in the barn this summer...

Mesmerising vocal harmonies surrounded by beautifully intricate arrangements of overlapping strings which merge folk, classical and indie seamlessly.

"Innovative, enthralling and enchanting" - Folk Radio

“A beautiful offering” - CLASH

“Energetic, original … excellent stage presence and varied, enchanting material” - Bath Folk Festival

Charli White
(full band) (Slot 3)

We are really excited to introduce Charli White and her band to the Fringe audience this summer.
Charli is a young Manchester based singer-songwriter and rising star producing soaring vocal melodies, intricately crafted guitar parts and deeply rooted rhythmic intensity.

Check out her sweet new debut single Sanctuary (in the link) which really grabbed our ear…

The Undercover Hippy (Slot 4)

Stoked to have Drum and Bass MC turned singer-songwriter Billy Rowan, aka The Undercover Hippy to bring the curtain down on this year's Fringe and the opportunity to "sweat off a whole dress size" in a good ol' boogie down.

Billy is definitely not your average singer songwriter. His music brings together powerful messages, infectious reggae rhythms, and the lyrical delivery of a skilled MC. "Combining intelligent, provocative lyrics with dangerously catchy hooks and a feel good groove, this is music for the thinking man to shake his arse to."

"Beautifully produced agitprop reggae flavoured rap" - Tom Robinson, BBC 6Music

"Combining intelligent, amusing, and often politically charged lyrics with dangerously catchy hooks and a feel good groove, this is music for the thinking man to shake his arse to.” - Music Mafia
