Camping Frequently Asked Questions
How much is it to camp?
Prices are from £10 per unit per night. Contact Thorn Park on 01395 579564 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org for a bespoke price and all other camping enquiries.
Do I need to book a camping pitch?
Generally for single tents, caravans and small campers it is not necessary to book. Just turn up and find a nice spot in the 19 acre site. If you are are large group or have a large campervan it would be advisable to contact Thorn Park on 01395 579564 or email:
email@example.com for all camping enquiries.
Are there any electric hook ups?
There are just a few electric hook ups - but you have to be a very early bird to reserve one!
How do I pay for camping?
Come to the barn and ask for Malcolm/McBuzz or he may just appear at your pitch on his gator runabout to say hello! Unfortunately there are no facilities for card payments.
Unfortunately due some bad experiences we no longer allow dogs. So unless you already have a prior agreement with management only guide dogs will be permitted at the site. For further information contact: firstname.lastname@example.org
Bringing Alcohol to the Fringe
The Fringe is a grass roots event on a very small buget - the main way we can recover our staging costs and help with artists fees is through money raised through bar sales. We have a great bar with a good range of local beers, lagers, ciders and spirits at reasonable prices - so please don't bring your own. Thank you.
Shuttle Bus/ Bus Stop
There is an independently run shuttle bus which runs up and down the hill into Sidmouth which picks up and drops off just out the venue. There is a timetable at the bus stop but they tend to run every hour in the day time and every half hour in the evening until late (just after midnight) Please check locally for confirmation of times!
There is also the subsidised day time Hopper Bus which runs from 09.00 - 17.30 and cost just £1.00!
Do you have WiFi?
Ask at the barn for the code.
Where can I charge my phone?
Ask at the barn we can usually find a plug somewhere!
Have you seen Malcolm/McBuzz?
McBuzz is of a generation who doesn't believe in mobiles or modern communication I'm afraid. Look out for the green gator runabout in the campfield if he's not behind the bar in the barn!
Who is McBuzz?
McBuzz is a mysterious character. Click hear for a glimpse....
