We're sorry but the artist submission window for Fringe 2020 is now closed.
If you think you might fit the 2021 bill we'd love to hear from you. (Early in the new year is the best time to apply). Please get in contact via the Contact page on this website with some links to your music. Thanks!
Playing @ the Fringe
The Sessions are set in an intimate and authentic venue in front of an appreciative/respectful audience and you'll be performing alongside some of the best musicians and emerging artists around. Add to this the occasional choice international touring artists and you have the ingredients for a great night of music! There are no support acts/'headliners' – we try to give all our artists equal billing – just fantastic music right from start to finish (Approx. 7.30pm until late)! Check out our Former Fringers page to see who's been before...
There is a professional lighting and top notch sound set-up with digital mixing desk and the best sound engineers. Audience numbers are variable with a maximum capacity of 500 per night.
There is a large artist's 'Green Room' in which to relax with WiFi and balcony overlooking the festival camp field. We have good media coverage with links to local and regional press and the event is supported by BBC Introducing (Devon & Cornwall).
There is a team of Fringe photographers who cover all the acts and a live video feed to a big screen on the side of the barn. We have produced our own high quality live music videos. Check out our vids here!
We have regular visitors for unplugged filming in and around the beautiful village of Salcombe Regis during the day. Check out their vids here!
We are active with our social media with plenty of tweets, shares and publicity to our growing followers before, during AND after the event!
If you or your band think you would fit the bill and would like to get involved please contact us via the contact page with some links to your music.
Tip: Early in the new year is probably the best time to apply.
“It’s THE festival I go to to find my new favourite band or artist”
James Santer - Presenter/Producer
BBC Introducing in Devon, October 2015
The 'Acoustic Corner' is situated in the marquee in the lead up to the start of the Fringe Sessions at around 7.00pm. It is aimed at local musicians or those who are already here for Folk week and fancy a busk (small amp is OK) in the early evening to help set the vibe for the main event in the barn. The slot would be from about 6.00 ish to around 6.45 latest. Please get in contact via the Contact page if you are interested in playing...
