Playing @ the Fringe

The Sessions are set in an intimate and authentic venue in front of an appreciative/respectful audience and you'll be performing alongside some of the best musicians and emerging artists around. Add to this some international touring artists and you have the ingredients for a great night of music! There are no support acts/'headliners' – we try to give all our artists equal billing – just fantastic music right from start to finish (Approx. 7.30pm until late)! Check out our Former Fringers page to see who's been before...

There is a professional lighting and top notch sound set-up with digital mixing desk and the best sound engineers. Audience numbers are variable with a maximum capacity of 500 per night.

There is artist's bell tent area and back stage artist's 'Green Room' area in which to relax with WiFi.

There is Fringe photographers who cover all the acts and in the past we have produced our own high quality live music videos. Check out our vids here!

We have regular visitors for unplugged filming in and around the beautiful village of Salcombe Regis during the day. Check out their vids here!

We are active with our social media with plenty of shares and publicity to our growing followers before, during and after the event!

If you or your band think you would fit the bill and would like to get involved please contact us via the contact page with some links to your music.

Tip: Early in the new year is probably the best time to apply.

Early evening busking

During the lead up to the start of the Fringe Sessions at around 7.00pm we have informal live music sessions between 5.30 - 6.30pm. It is aimed at local musicians or those who are already here for Folk week and fancy playing early evening to help set the vibe for the main event as people arrive (small amp is OK).  (Not available on the Monday). Please get in contact via the Contact page if you are interested in taking part. We'd love to hear from you! :)
