Camping at Thorn Park
Camping for the Fringe (and for the main Folk Festival) is on the golf course at Thorn Park and will be open from Thursday afternoon preceding the start of the event to the following Saturday during Sidmouth Folk Week. Caravans and campervans welcome!
Campsite guide prices:
Tents (per night)
Walk in (with tent) £15 for first person
Driving in (with tent) £18 for first person
Extra £2.50 per additional person
Camper Vans & Caravans (per night)
£20 for first person
Extra £2 per additional person
Hook ups (if available) £10
There are 22 acres to choose from - so find a nice spot (avoiding the greens) and set up - Check in at the Clubhouse when you're ready or McBuzz will come and find you on his buggy to say hello at some point.
On Site Facilities

• Cold water taps
• Limited electric hook up available (Please call)
• Breakfast van (TBC 2026)
• Hot take away food at the Fringe Sessions from around 5.30pm*
* Returnable venue entry deposit will be required

Access to the campsite
The main entrance to the camp field for cars and small campervans is on the right 300m beyond the Golf Centre entrance (just past the entrance to Salcombe Regis Campsite).

Caravans and long campervans should enter the site only from the east via 'old' Trow road (avoiding a very steep winding section) where there is wider access into the camping field.
