Suthering
Suthering are a fearless, queer duo whose emotionally charged songwriting tackles politics, mental health, feminism and LGBTQ+ rights with warmth, humour, and unshakable honesty.
After years of relentless touring, sold-out shows across the UK and appearances at major festivals, Suthering have built a reputation for exceptional live performances. Powerful storytelling is at the heart of their live shows, with songs that hit to the core of what it means to be human. Immaculate vocal harmonies and spellbinding moments of a cappella — woven through piano, fingerstyle guitar, whistles and flutes — regularly bring rooms to pin-drop silence.
Currently writing their third studio album, Suthering continue to work tirelessly for protest, pride and belonging.

Ceitidh Mac
With a progressive twist to her music, Ceitidh Mac (pronounced Katie, spelt the Gaelic way) is an alt.folk singing/cellist, described as a ‘Fascinating new Welsh-born, Tyneside-dwelling singer-songwriter and cellist, with an unusual, stunning voice.’ Absorbing in its originality, Ceitidh Mac creates songs that soar with contemporary arrangements/instrumentation playing with live and electronic elements, whilst having a prominent folk influence.
Growing up in the wilds of Pembrokeshire before heading North to Newcastle Upon Tyne, she’s been carving a name for herself across the UK and beyond.
Ceitidh has toured the UK as well as festival appearances including Shambala Festival, Green Man Festival, Kendal Calling, and Other Voices among others.

Flats and Sharps
Flats & Sharps are a five-piece British bluegrass band originally from the far west of Cornwall.
Lovely to welcome these boys back to the Fringe who have been performing here both man and boy and after a brief hiatus have relaunched with an expanded lineup.
The Cornish bluegrass outfit deliver music that’s punchy, precise and impossible to ignore. Born on the coast and raised on the road, they’ve built a reputation for lightning-fast picking, pristine vocal harmonies and an electrifying live show.
The boys have played hundreds of major festivals across the UK, Europe, Australia and the U.S., and built a reputation as one of the UK’s standout acts.
Known for their mix of traditional bluegrass roots and fresh original songwriting, their live shows are a blend of virtuosity, humour, and raw passion that leave crowds smiling and wanting more.

Birmingham’s rock juggernaut; This 10-piece behemoth is set to redefine everything you know about heavy guitars and big-band brass! Chunky guitar riffs with a killer horn section, drawn from some of the best bands in Birmingham, the Big Band of Boom continue their meteoric trajectory. Known for an electrifying live-show BBOB have already graced some of the most prestigious festival stages at Boomtown, Twinwood, Camp Bestival and Shambala. With dates across the UK and Europe, this is THE year to see the Big Band of Boom perform live! Initial releases ‘Big Bad Voodoo’, ‘M.I.A.,’ and ‘Back To The Circus’ have been streamed +100k times.
