Harbottle & Jonas (Slot 1)

Devon based husband and wife duo Harbottle & Jonas combine the rich traditions of folk music with original and contemporary interpretations through a blend of closely intertwined vocal harmonies and compelling and authentic musical arrangements, blending concertina, harmonium, banjo, cittern, stomp box and acoustic guitar. They have developed a unique and original signature sound, that is unmistakably Harbottle and Jonas.

James Riley Band (Slot 2)

Gracefully navigating the line between folk, Americana and adult pop, UK born Anglo/American singer-songwriter James Riley followed his roots back to Nashville in 2015.

Since returning to the UK James has been nominated for no fewer than 4 awards – as well as yielding national TV and radio coverage, and international tours on both sides of the Atlantic.

2019 marks the threshold of an exciting new chapter for this transatlantic songsmith, and a long-awaited opportunity to share with the world the fruits of a hard-won musical journey.

'James Riley won’t be one of the best kept secrets on the London folk scene for much longer' For Folk’s Sake

Megan Dixon Hood(Slot 3)

So, we try to avoid booking artists on consecutive years... but occasionally we just can't resist! So we are delighted that the wonderfully-talented Megan Dixon Hood and her band will be back again at the Fringe.

We were bowled over by the young Cheshire-based songwriter last summer with her enchanting and powerful vocals combined with haunting and lyrical songwriting.
Check out the spine-tingling orchestral arrangement of 'Wolves' in the link.

'Delicate yet fierce, her vocals could caress you in their hands, or cut you straight in half within a split second.'  Staff Music Awards

Baskery (Slot 4)

Baskery are three kick-ass sisters from Sweden who blend high energy ‘banjo punk’, edgy guitar riffs, thumping double bass lines with killer sibling harmonies that demand attention and will be an act you will not want to miss!

The band are Greta (banjitar, drums & vocals), Stella (double bass & vocals) and Sunniva (guitars & vocals) have an impressive CV - having joined legendary artist Robbie Williams as opener and special guests on his arena-tour throughout Europe. They've since been on multiple international tours alongside artists like Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Alabama Shakes, Dr John, Mumford and Sons and more.

We don't have and arena but we are very excited to have them perform in our intimate barn setting for you!
