King's Gambit
Great to have this party-loving English folk band back at the Fringe this August.
Based in Northampton, this multipiece band has been thumping out its infectious 'FolkBeat’ music offering a blend of trad tunes and original songs that combine soulful harmonies, soaring strings, punchy percussions and a driving baseline.

Jacob Ifans
Great to have Jacob Ifans and his band up from Cornwall to join us at the Fringe this summer - what a chilled sound...
Hailing from rural West Wales and now settled in Cornwall, Jacob Ifans was brought up in a musical farming family which has lovingly influenced his work. His songs follow themes of human relationships, family stories and seasonal change in an often-nostalgic view of the past.
With influences from Leonard Cohen, Johnny Cash and Rodriguez, Jacob has embedded himself into the Cornish music scene alongside artists like Daisy Rickman, Tealeaf and Drolls.

Karma Sheen
Hailing from cosmopolitan London, the music of Karma Sheen merges Hindustani classical, fuzzy 60s rock a la Jimi Hendrix, and Sufi inspired lyricism, deeply rooted in cultural heritage.
Spearheaded by Sameer Khan, who is formally trained by a 600-year-old lineage of musicians from modern-day Pakistan, Karma Sheen brings timeless traditions to new realms, captivating audiences along the way.
Known for their energetic, transcendent and captivating live shows, fuelled by a plethora of electrified folk instruments, the band capture the hearts and imaginations to all they perform for.

Rum Buffalo
Excited to announce London 7-piece Rum Buffalo on board for the Fringe for Saturday's finale.
Vivid, energetic, and unpredictable - Rum Buffalo have been tearing up the underground music scene in the UK with a unique brand of Jazz flavoured Psych-Rock.
Improbable horn lines, reminiscent of big band greats such as Duke Ellington sit amongst huge sonic landscapes provided by Jack White-esque guitar, twisted synths, and groovy rhythms.
“Surprising, perspiring, inspiring. This is everything British indie should be.”
