Anna McLuckie (Slot 1)

One of our fav artists we are chuffed to have singer, songwriter and harpist Anna McLuckie and her band back at the Fringe. We love her beautiful music, her angelic vocals and intricate rhythmic harp plucking.

Having grown up in Edinburgh, she shot to fame as a contestant on TV's The Voice. Anna is now based in the Manchester area and is influenced by alternative folk and indie rock music. Her sound has been described as hauntingly beautiful and utterly captivating.

The King's Parade (Slot 2)

Really excited to have classy London 4-piece The King's Parade back at the Fringe this summer!

Their music is a wonderful melodic crossover of classic ‘Detroit blues’ and pop with a soulful thread running throughout. Led by the assured vocals of frontman Olly Corpe, the band evokes the soulful sounds of the 70s with modern influences from The Black Keys, Michael Kiwanuka and Alabama Shakes.

Although the band have been together a few years now they have retained their artistic independence and remained under the mainstream radar while still amassing a large fanbase following sell out tours in London and Europe. The band's hard work has seen them honoured at the Unsigned Music Awards with much critical acclaim from the big names of the music press.

Ed Harcourt (Slot 3)

A warm Fringe welcome to multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter Ed Harcourt - a seasoned musician, writer and record producer having released six studio albums and numerous EPs and singles. His debut album 'Here Be Monsters' was nominated for the Mercury Prize.

Ed has also written for other renowned artists, including Sophie Ellis-Bextor and Paloma Faith, and has performed with Marianne Faithfull and the Libertines. His music is influenced by Tom Waits, Nick Cave, and Jeff Buckley, among others.

Flats & Sharps (Slot 4)

Whoopedee do dah! Fringe darlings the Flats & Sharps boys are back!

They first played the Fringe way back in 2013 as four fresh-faced lads from the farmlands of deepest Cornwall. Now they've become seasoned bluegrass vets having toured extensively across the UK, Europe and as far as Australia. They always deliver fantastic high-energy spirited performances that leave their audiences reeling and wanting more.

The Flats & Sharps are a very popular live act with a rapidly increasing band of followers. Expect lots of exhilarating duelling banjos, guitars, ukes and fiddles combined with some close harmonies. All guaranteed to bring a smile to your face!
